ABOUT
Sanjay Gupta
American hedge fund manager Sanjay Gupta drove 150,000+ miles across nearly 100 countries, embedding himself in war zones, failed states, and overlooked markets long before they hit the headlines.

While most investors read about risk, Sanjay lived it—surviving an attempted murder in Nigeria, and operating inside collapsing economies in Latin America on motorbike and 4x4.
Educated at Dartmouth, hardened on Wall Street at JP Morgan and Salomon Brothers, and battle-tested as a global entrepreneur, he built real businesses inside China, Sweden, England, Switzerland, Poland, Americas, and more—not as a tourist, but as a local operator, hiring teams, building infrastructure, and scaling operations across borders.

Geopolitics Without the Filter
After years of traveling through war zones, collapsing economies, and authoritarian regimes, Sanjay has learned one thing: most of what we hear from the media is wrong.
His work pulls back the curtain on Russia and Ukraine, China's expansionist strategy, and why the West is losing control of the global financial narrative. It's not just theory—he's seen it for himself.

Building Businesses On the Road

Sanjay's built his businesses on the road—while interviewing local brokers in Ghana, studying infrastructure in Peru, or running regression models from a café in Eastern Europe.
No Desk Can Teach This
Totally raw, unedited footage.
Travel through nearly 100 countries, collecting global macro data for over 20 years.
This was shot in Senegal, riding towards Gambia.
After hitting a pothole and dropping a > 340 kg (750 pound) bike, spare gas tanks, computers, etc. which are all hard to balance offroad, it’s nearly impossible for one person to lift 750 pounds if the angle is not right.
Context: There are no road signs or maps available so you have to navigate with compass, and sometimes ask locals, who usually don’t know because they rarely leave their villages.
